Camp Season!

It's that time of the year again!  CAMP SEASON! smile

I already have one camp with All-American Volleyball Camps done for the Summer.  I got to work with Hamilton County High School out of Jasper, Florida.  I was lucky enough to coach them last Summer at the University of Florida Camps, so it was great to see the progress the kids have made.

Next up:  University of Florida Volleyball Camp

I leave early Monday morning (July 18th) to drive to Gainesville, Florida (approximately 2 hours).  I will be there working Session 3 (Individual Skills Camp) until Thursday July 21st.

This will be my 11th Summer working the UF Camps.  I typically work the whole 2 week spread (all 4 sessions), but the O'Connell Center is under construction so camp is not that big this Summer, and therefore not as many coaches are needed to work.  I'm happy to add another year under my belt smile

University of South Florida Camp

Following that, I will be heading down to the University of South Florida to work their Elite High School Volleyball Camp from July 25-27.  This will be my first Summer working with USF, and I look forward to meeting all new coaches and learning how they run their camps.  UF has been the only major Camp I have worked my whole career, so it's always nice to expand your knowledge and reach new kids.

F.W. Springstead High School

My alma mater F.W. Springstead High School has their tryouts from August 1-3, and I will be helping with that process.  There are a lot of new girls coming in, and so far Summer trainings have been great!  It's so nice to consistently see 15-20 girls in that gym!  #GoEagles!

All-American Camps

August 17-20 I will fly up to Philadelphia for another round with All-American Camps for what will be my first trip to PA.  I'm very thankful to have been introduced to the organization, and I really love the format and the freedom they give us coaches to put together our own camp.  Camp is typically 3 days long with 2 sessions a day.  The first day is very much about assessment and then we move forward accordingly.  Keeps you on your toes! wink

And that is all that is planned so far! We will see what happens next!
